Alameda County has approved the conversion of the former Comfort Inn at 8452 Edes Ave, Oakland, into permanent supportive housing, with Allied Housing leading the development funded by Measure A1 and the California Homekey Program. This project aims to support the homeless community by ensuring long-term housing for eligible households. The rehabilitation process includes managing the relocation of current occupants, as 50% of the building was occupied during development. This initiative highlights our dedication to providing sustainable housing solutions and addressing homelessness by leveraging public funding and collaborating with ownership.
